CPGM Healthcare Ltd (CHL) have arranged a fantastic and competitively priced training package with ECG and PharmDoctor to enable pharmacists in Greater Manchester to provide the NHS national flu service and a private flu service.
What is included?
Our vaccination skills training workshops will be delivered by tried and tested trusted partners, ECG Ltd. The comprehensive training ensures that you are fully prepared to offer both the national and private flu services as well as many other vaccination services, e.g. Travel vaccinations.
To ensure that you are set up and ready to go on completion of your training, our package is inclusive of the Flu PGD, provided by PharmDoctor.
Locum or additional pharmacist?
If you have a locum or additional pharmacist that requires training, you can book this training for £89 + VAT. This does not include a PGD.
At the end of the course delegates will be able to demonstrate:
- How to set up for a vaccination clinic
- Safe intramuscular and subcutaneous injection techniques
- Intranasal administration of vaccines
- Child positioning for vaccination
- Reconstitution of vaccines
- Adult and Paediatric basic life support
- Recognition of anaphylaxis and other adverse reactions
- Administration of adrenaline via an ampoule or any auto-injector

The PGD, provided by PharmDoctor, can be purchased from CHL at a cost of £18.50.
Travel Vaccines - Free training included
The two sessions taking place at Hough End on Sunday 22nd July also include all practical skills to cover travel vaccines. CHL has worked with Valneva and PharmaDoctor to offer pharmacies their E-tool and TD PGD for £260+VAT (1st pharmacist in a pharmacy) and £215 (additional pharmacist).
